XR Life Science

XR Life Science (XRLS) creates novel educational content that harnesses the power of recent developments in virtual, augmented, mixed and extended realities (VR, AR, MR, XR). There is a limited amount of commercially available XR content for higher education level teaching. This is particularly true for ‘threshold concepts’ which are key elements of a curriculum that must be fully understood before further learning can progress. Furthermore, most XR content uses artists’ impressions of 3D models.

XRLS’s unique approach is in using real research data collected on a variety of optical and medical scanners.
