Three new members appointed to Converge Strategic Advisory Board
Converge has boosted its leadership team with the appointment of three new members to its Strategic Advisory Board.
Dr Olga Kozlova, Director of Innovation and Industry Engagement at the University of Strathclyde and the original founder of Converge, has been recruited to the Advisory Board. She is joined by Dr Neil Clelland, a business leader with experience in business development and scientific research, currently commercial director for a Biotech company, Fixed Phage, and Professor Milan Radosavljevic, Vice Principal and Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation & Engagement at the University of the West of Scotland.
Dr Claudia Cavalluzzo, Executive Director of Converge explains “Olga, Neil and Milan represent key appointments for us. They join our growing board of visionaries, experts and entrepreneurs, providing strategic long-term development of the programme. With crucial strategies being developed by the Scottish Government, be it the Scotland’s National Strategy for Economic Transformation or the Entrepreneurial Campus, a key facet of the expectations of the Scottish Technology Ecosystem Review, Converge has big ambitions to grow and scale its operations and impact. To enable us to meet our vision we need a supportive and experienced board, and that’s what we have built”.
Meanwhile, in the Converge Team, Adam Kosterka, has been promoted to Deputy Director with responsibility for managing and overseeing all aspects of Converge operations including finance, programme delivery and HR. As part of his remit, Adam leads the strategic development of the Enterprise Team and works with Claudia to shape and deliver the organisation’s strategic initiatives.
