IDxSense

IDxSense – a spinout from the University of Edinburgh – is a medical diagnostics company that will provide new methods of monitoring severe inflammatory diseases to improve diagnosis and allow more personalised treatment and monitoring. Using our proprietary chemical technology, we can “sense” T cell mediated inflammatory damage which is associated with autoimmune components of disease.

Our initial focus is to provide an in-vitro diagnostic test for use with patients who have or are suspected of having inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This will deliver an efficient diagnosis and monitoring tool to guide therapy for each patient.
