Royal Bank of Scotland Rose Award: £10k cash
The Royal Bank of Scotland Rose Award is back for 2021 but this time with an increased prize pot of £10k!
Awarded to an aspiring female founder from this year’s pool of Converge semi-finalists and designed to boost female entrepreneurship in Scotland, the prize includes a money-can’t-buy mentoring session with the bank’s CEO, Alison Rose.
Converge Net Zero Award: £10k cash
Are you a climate-conscious entrepreneur developing new technologies or solutions to create a cleaner, greener more resilient world? Then don’t miss the chance to scoop our brand-new Net Zero Award with a prize pot of £10,000 in equity free cash.
The winner will be selected from participants from this year’s Converge, Creative and Impact Challenges. Projects from all sectors are eligible but construction & the built environment; transport; agriculture and energy are of particular relevance.
Cisco Future Tech Award: £5k cash plus package of support
Another first for 2021 is the Cisco Future Tech Award – a new ‘Best in Class’ prize backed by technology leader and Converge partner, Cisco.
Designed to support innovative technology start-ups emerging from Scotland’s universities, one lucky winner from this year’s Converge cohort will win £5k in equity free cash plus a package of in-kind support including a mentoring session with Cisco UKI, CTO, Chintan Patel and a 12-month package of tailored Cisco support including technology and advice.
Projects from a wide range of technology sectors are eligible including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Cloud Security.
