Fancy Frog Games

Our team is creating a 2–4 player competitive strategy board game with a central theme of Scottish history and culture. We are developing upon strategy game design principles popularised over the last decade by successful games such as Clans of Caledonia and Wingspan.

Clans of Caledonia featured a Scottish theme and raised $400k through Kickstarter in 2017, whilst Wingspan, featuring an ornithological theme, has sold 1.4m units since launch in 2019. According to Statista, the global board game market is currently in a growth phase and its value is expected to be over $3.5bn by 2027.
