Northern Light Microscopy

Northern Light Microscopy is developing affordable benchtop microscopy systems that incorporate some of the latest generations of advanced microscopy techniques to democratise these tools and support life scientists to make the bioscience discoveries and pharmacological interventions of tomorrow.

Our aim is to remove the barriers to accessing advanced microscopy – cost, space, and expertise. We have designed a modular microscope platform that is up to 10x cheaper than current systems, allows users to extract twice as much data from biological specimens with no change in user protocol and can be used as standalone system or bolt-on unit to existing microscopes.
